Act-On Opens Data Center in Germany
Furthers Its Commitment to European Businesses and Overall Data Privacy & Security
BEAVERTON, Ore., October 6, 2015 – Act-On Software, the leading provider of marketing automation for small and mid-sized businesses, today announced the availability of its Frankfurt data center hosted through the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Europe infrastructure region. The availability of this data center brings Act-On’s international data center locations to two: Ireland and Germany. In the new Frankfurt AWS region, as with all Act-On data centers, customers choose where their data is processed and stored.
Act-On‘s decision to expand its international footprint ensures that its customers operating under specific laws and market expectations receive the right level of support for their business needs. The availability of the Frankfurt data center furthers Act-On’s commitment to the privacy and security of its customers’ data, and ensures that all customers, across all geographies, experience the same level of performance.
The opening of the Frankfurt data center gives Act-On users an additional option for where they would like their data to reside, allowing them to benefit from having infrastructure centrally located in Europe. Additionally, customers can now further improve the fault tolerance of their applications using two infrastructure regions located exclusively in Europe.
